We receive so many requests for TechForm quality gold castings that we launched an R&D project in 2024 to refine our casting processes as well as develop HIP parameters for gold alloys. We started with casting 14k and 18k yellow gold alloys and look forward to expanding our selection in 2025.
Our new Hot Isostatic Pressing parameters for gold alloys are yielding results much like they do for platinum, producing a fully dense and more uniform casting. A jeweler told us last week that the casting performed more like working a milled product in metal consistency throughout the piece!
